I used FeedList on my site and ended up with fantastic results using a table and making multiple feeds in cells. I'm using it on wpmu and I'm sure its good in wp. May suit your needs.

@ebiladdres Thanks for the beta - but I need something that actually processes the feeds into Posts - not just displays them. So far the above hack seems to be working for me.

Ah, misunderstood at first. I have used wp-o-matic for that action. It reads the feeds and posts. - Eric
